Who is Yasmina?

Social Entrepreneur, Global Strategist, Speaker & Movement Builder

Yasmina Benslimane is a multi-award-winning social entrepreneur, strategist, and global advocate advancing inclusive leadership, resource mobilization, and systems change across climate justice, migration, peacebuilding, and gender equity. Raised in Morocco by a single mother, she learned early that power isn’t distributed fairly, but that it can be understood, claimed, and shared. That belief has shaped her work for over a decade.

Yasmina has supported the leadership, political participation, and economic empowerment of more than 100,000 women worldwide, especially from Global Majority countries. She is the founder of Politics4Her, one of the largest intersectional youth-led organizations advancing women’s political participation globally, and co-founder of Climate Sirens, a climate-tech social enterprise amplifying Indigenous frontline voices through innovation and storytelling. She also co-founded Umriden, a traceable beauty brand on a digital marketplace built with women-led cooperatives, and leads Constellations Academy, a community that teaches ambitious women how power works, so they can own their voice and step confidently into leadership.

A recognized resource mobilizer and movement builder, she has helped mobilize over $800,000 for women-led initiatives, including grassroots and emergency response efforts. Her digital advocacy and thought leadership have reached more than 15 million people globally on climate justice, migration, and inclusive governance.

She has advised on the stewardship of over $750 million in funding for gender equality and social justice, with institutions including the UN Spotlight Initiative, the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund, Equal Measures 2030, Vital Voices, and the Nobel Women’s Initiative, as well as private philanthropy.

Yasmina holds a BA in Political Science from Saint Louis University, an MA in International Law from the University for Peace, and an MA in Forced Migration and Refugee Protection from the University of London. She has also completed executive programs in leadership at Harvard Kennedy School and in forced migration at the University of Oxford.
