Hi, I’m Yasmina

After living in seven countries and immersing myself in diverse academic and cultural environments, one truth has remained clear: gender inequality is universal, though its manifestations differ from place to place.

Raised by a single mother in a country where laws still oppress women, my values and voice were forged in the shadow of systemic injustice. I have seen how fear, tradition, and structural violence conspire to silence women, eroding their rights and dignity.

This lived experience is the foundation of my work. I have dedicated my life to challenging these systems, amplifying marginalized voices, and creating spaces where women, across my region and around the world, can claim their power and shape their own futures.

“Growing up in Morocco and having a single mother, I witnessed and experienced firsthand how hard it was for women to have equal access to rights and opportunities simply because they were women.”
